How to handle a shitty day.

What… did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?


Somedays - YES! 

Somedays - I feel off, no energy, pissed, annoyed and I don’t know why.

Somedays - I feel this way and know EXACTLY what it was triggered by. Maybe for you, it was a pregnancy announcement or getting your period (AGAIN!).

Either way, you’re a human being and you’re allowed to have a shit day once in a while. It’s totally normal.

But the biggest issue I see with clients, is that when these days come about, they’re super hard on themselves with thoughts like, “I shouldn’t be feeling this way.” Which ultimately creates a ton of resistance to feeling your feelings and just prolongs the suffering for dayzzzz…

I used to be this way too. I used to think something was wrong with me when I wasn’t chipper and full of life 24/7 (high standards much?) But then I stopped pushing. I just let the day be what it wanted to be. And I can honestly say that these days are MUCH fewer and far between. 

So let’s cut ourselves some MF slack shall we?
